We Focus Our Practice on Estate Planning and Elder Law Matters

At Surprenant & Beneski, PC, we focus our practice on strategic planning for your peace of mind. We understand that each estate plan is unique and should reflect the individual goals of each client. Some estate plans require the creation of one or multiple trusts, while others include a will. Our skilled estate planning lawyers sit down with each client so we can thoroughly understand their financial situation, dreams, and goals.

The founding partners of our law firm are a brother and sister team who focused the law firm on estate planning after walking through an Alzheimer’s diagnosis with their grandmother. They saw how emotionally and financially stressful estate planning can become for elders who are facing health challenges and their loved ones. Our estate planning lawyers focus our practice on the following areas of estate planning and elder law:

Cape Cod Estate and Trust Administration

One goal of estate planning is to help individuals avoid the probate process when possible. In many cases, creating a trust can benefit the estate planner as well as his or her family. Trust-based estate plans can be used to minimize the amount of estate tax an individual will need to pay. When the creator of the trust passes away, the beneficiaries of the trust will not need to go through the Massachusetts probate process, which can be expensive and time-consuming. In addition to helping clients create trusts, our law firm also offers trust administration services for trustees.
