Do you have the Go Bag packed?

During the Covid-19 crisis, family members are not allowed to accompany their sick loved ones into hospitals. This is true whether they are being treated for Covid-19 symptoms or not. Your loved one may need to seek medical care for other issues and you will not be able to go with them. Therefore, you may want to pack a Go Bag for them so that you are prepared to send them with the necessities.

Additionally, be sure to keep copies of the legal documents (Health Care Proxy, HIPAA Authorization Release, Advance Directive and / or MOLST on the fridge as EMTs are trained to look for them there. Make sure the health care agent(s) also have copies.
